I don't even have the exact year in my head for that. It was a Summer Solstice show, circa '87-'89. While equipment issues are getting ironed out at the beginning of the show, Jerry, ready to start playing, starts into Hideaway by Freddie King, a blues instrumental, just for the hell of it. A couple of minutes into it, Weir's amp starts making crackling noises, so he steadies himself by grabbing hold of the percussion rack and kicks the shit out of it.

The setlist includes a Touch of Grey opener (after the assault on the amp), Minglewood ("It's 'T' right here in-uh-Mountain View"), a "We want Phil" Box of Rain, and that first set closer of Deal. Clarence Clemons from The E Street Band guests on sax in Set Two. That might not be much help, but, unfortunately, it's the best I can do.
